Description: I love English Paper Piecing! It is fun to do and it is a great project to be able to travel with, or take with you to doctor appointments or anywhere you need to wait. It’s also great to work on while watching TV. We will learn the different methods of basting our hexies. This will be a class where we stitch by hand. It really is fun and relaxing.
Fabric/Supply Requirements:
- Layer Cake of Fabric – this will give you some extra fabric (think ahead to gifts in 2024)
- 1 yard fusible fleece or batting would work
- 1 yard backing fabric
- 14″ pillow form
- 14″ zipper
- Thread
Sewing machine will not be required in class, as we will not make it through all of our hexies that we will need to make.
The kit will include hand sewing needles and the paper piecing shapes.
