Description: This is the perfect Quilt for Scraps!!! It has one simple block pattern with a ‘short cut’ I use to make the 6 1/2 inch block. Even though this measures 60″ x 64″, you can make it any size. It is a fast block to make and assemble.
Since this is a power hour, I will bring some scraps and also some pieces already cut to the dimensions so you can experiment with them to see how this fast block comes together.
Fabric/Supply Requirements:
Scraps! Scraps! Scraps!
Fabric: I recommend (depending on your size) 1 to 2 yards EACH of light and dark value fabrics. You can do some prepping before the class.
Rulers: 6″ x 6″, 8″ x 8″ or your most favorite ruler, 6″ x 24″ is also helpful
Thread: White or Taupe depending on the colors or scraps
Rotary Cutter: your favorite size
Sewing machine, scissors, seam ripper, POWER CORD, chocolate and a Coke!
