Do you like scrappy quilts? Do you have scraps in your stash? Do you want a FUN and SIMPLE project? Scrappy Birdhouse is the class for you! Scrappy Quilts are sewn with a random assortment of fabric – like the quilter put their hand in a bin of fabric and pulled out pieces without looking. You can use themed fabric or make your quilt completely random.

Fabric/Supply Requirements:

  • 41 solid pieces of fabric 5″ x 5″ for scrappy birdhouse blocks (A Blocks)
  • (40) 10″ squares (B Blocks)
  • A large assortment of scrap fabric. We will be using strips up to 2″ in width and 15″ in length
  • Binding: 5/8 ard
  • Backing: 25 fat quarters
  • Sewing machine in good working order
  • Basic Sewing Kit
  • Rotary cutter and mat
  • Iron & Ironing board
  • Pen or pencil
  • 2 1/2″ x 12″ Ruler
  • 6 1/2″ x 24″ Ruler
