Description: These sweet little pincushions are so fun, fast and easy to make! You’ll want to make one for all your quilty friends and one for yourself as well! Debbie Busby’s book, Jingle All the Way, is chock full of holiday inspiration. You’ll want to make all the projects! I love working with wool, and if you are new to wool, this simple little project will leave you hooked!
Fabric/Supplies List:
- 8″ square of red, tan or green check OR red stripe cotton for pincushion
- 4″ square of cream wool for frosting
- 31/2″ x 5″ rectangle of green wool for holly leaves
- 1 bell, bead or red wool ball for center detail (each 1/4 – 1″ diameter)
- 1 canning jar lid (approximately 21/2″ diameter
- Fiberfill stuffing
- Size 12 pearl cotton to match wool (you will need cream, red and green for this project)
- Chenille needles, #22 and #24
- Sharp, pointed scissors
