Description: A delightfully festive holiday hanging created with simple applique and piecing techniques. It is sure to brighten a little spot in your heart and in your home.
Fabric Requirements:
- 2 1/2″ x width of fabric of green (top piece of wall hanging)
- 6 1/2″ x width of fabric of dark green plaid (JOY, stocking background, holly leaves, trees)
- 6 1/2″ x width of fabric of red polka dot (stocking, joy background)
- 10″ square of cream and green plaid (tree background)
- 6 1/2″ x width of fabric of red (snowflake background, scallop, holly background)
- 1/4 yard of green dot (Santa background, holly leaves)
- 6 1/2″ x width of fabric of off white (Santa’s beard, mustache, snowflakes)
- Scraps for Santa’s face, tree trunk
- Red wool pieces (Santa’s hat, stocking cuff, toe, heel)
- 1/4 yard binding
- 3/4 yard backing
- 1 yard of fusible web
