Description: “Ornamental” is a fun, unique modern quilt using fat eighths and a solid background. It works up quickly and includes directions for three different sizes. It requires using a triangle ruler to make the diamond shaped units. It’s a fun quilt that would look great in any color and mine is bright batiks sewn into diamonds! I also plan to make one with a gray background.
Fabric Requirements:
- Tri Recs Tool or both the Perfect Rectangle and the Triangle Squared Rulers from Creative Grids
- 16 fat eighths (batiks make this design special)
- 3 1/2 yards background fabric/border (solid color)
- Basic Sewing Kit
