Description: I love how this quilt looks like there are many different blocks in it when there is only 1! The original quilt was made with only a few (5) color choices. I used 13 fat quarters and I love the way it turned out. You could use your stash or use 5 colors. It’s all fun! I’ll throw in a few tips as we work on the block to give you a good start on this fun quilt.
Fabric Requirements:
To make a scrappy looking quilt:
- 12 fat quarters
- 1/8 yard or 1 fat quarter for center square (if you want them all the same)
- 2 1/4 yard background fabric
- 7/8 yard border
- 5/8 yard binding
- 3 1/2 yard backing
To make all blocks the same:
- 2 1/4 yard background
- 1 1/4 yard Color 2
- 1/2 yard Color 3
- 3/4 yard Color 4
- 1/8 yard Color 5
- 7/8 yard border
- 5/8 yard binding
- 3 1/2 yard backing
- Sewing machine in good working order (don’t forget the power cord)
- New machine needle
- Basic sewing supplies
- Marking too
- 6 1/2″ square ruler or larger
- 12″ ruler or larger
