Description: How can you resist these whimsical parrots? They are so colorful & bright, you’ll feel like you’re on a tropical vacation everyday of the year. The parrots and flowers mostly consist of the drunkards path block, so yes, you will be sewing curves. I will be teaching you different technics on how to piece curves so you can find the way that is most comfortable for you to finish the quilt. Soooooo, come have a Party with us!

Birds

  • Color 1 — 3/4 yard
  • Color 2 — 3/4 yard
  • Color 3 — 3/4 yard
  • Color 4 — 3/4 yard

Leaves

  • Color 5 — 5/8 yard

Stems

  • Color 6 — 1/16 yard

Outer circle of flowers

  • Color 7 — 3/8 yard Pink
  • Color 9 — 3/8 yard Purple

Inner circle of flowers

  • Color 8 — 1/8 yard Dark Pink
  • Color 10 — 1/8 yard Dark Purple

Beak

  • Color 11 — 1/4 yard for top beak
  • Color 12 — 1/8 yard for lower beak

Eye

  • Color 13 — 1/16 yard

Background – 3 1/2 yards

Backing – 4 yards

Binding – 5/8 yard

The pattern does contain paper templates, but I would consider using a circle cutting ruler if you have one. If you wish to buy one, I would recommend Creative Grids Circle Savvy Ruler or Color Girl Quilts Classic Cures ruler. Check your ruler stash! This is a good way of keeping your cuts consistent.
