REQUIRED RULER: Square on Square 6″ Trim Tool by Creative Grids

Description: I am a lover of Ruby Star fabrics, but I rarely . . . RARELY . . . buy gadgets, but this ruler is a game changer – a must have. This quilt is so fun to make! Gather up all your scraps, cut them into small pieces, sew them together, trim with the ruler, sew them back into a large piece, trim again and TADA! You have this amazing quilt! Come and play!

Fabric/Supply Requirements:

The blocks finish at either 3″ or 6″, so decide what size you want to make. Divide by 6 to find out how many blocks you need. My quilt is 84″ x 84″, so I have 196 blocks in mine. So, gather your scraps and start cutting!

Per 6″ block, cut:

(1) center square – 3 1/2″ x 3 1/2″

(2) first round squares – 3 1/2″ x 3 1/2″, cut in half diagonally

(2) second round squares – 4 1/2″ x 4 1/2″
