Description: A really fun quilted tote bag or project bag to show off your favorite fabrics. It features a zippered top, lots of pockets inside to keep everything organized and structural stays in the top to keep it in shape.

Fabric Requirements:

1/2 yard outside bag body – **NOTE** More fabric required for directional fabrics 5/8 yard

7/8 yard inside bag body, sashing and pockets

7/8 yard handles, bottom, binding, bows and tabs

1 pkg Bosal In-R-Form Plus 24″ x 58″

1 pkg Bosal Craf-tex small Camden Bag Bottoms

1 set of pre bent stays (included with the pattern)

1/4″ plumbers tubing

24″ or longer double pull (opens either direction) handbag zipper

Polyester thread for sewing that matches your fabric choices

Sturdy thread like Aurifull 12 weight, buttonhole/carpet thread to match the bottom fabric for hand sewing

Sturdy sewing machine with strong motor-bring out the big girls to play – a travel machine won’t work

Walking foot

Size 90/14 or size 100/16 microtex sewing machine needle

Steam iron

Scissors

Pins – I like the yellow head Quilter’s pins

Wonder clips – large and small if you have them

60mm rotary cutter if you have one (I will bring mine to share if you need to borrow)

6″ x 24″ acrylic ruler or similar

Chalk, Frixion Pen, or Water Soluble Marking Pen – whatever you want to use to mark your quilting lines on the outside of your bag

Measuring Tape

Chenille 22 hand sewing needle

Parchment paper or Teflon Sheet
