Description: You just love set in seams don’t you? Yea, me neither! But the Lemoyne Star has always been a favorite of mine. So how to make this block to perfection and without the hassle and frustration of set in seams? This method requires a special ruler which, I’ll admit, is pricey, but once you use it and get a beautiful, perfect block with no lost point, you might be hooked as I am. Deb Tucker’s Rapid Fire Lemoyne Star ruler costs $35.50 when purchased from her and can be had from Amazon for about $28. I am working with someone who may be able to order from the company and get a much better price. All that being said, look at the picture and see every block from 3″ to 12″. Each one is perfectly sewn and none have lost their points. Best of all there are NO set in seams!

Fabric Requirements:

All these blocks are made from strips that range in width and length. The stars are cut from 1 1/4″ to 3 3/4″ strips. The backgrounds are cut from 2 1/2″ to 4 3/4″ strips. Strip lengths are from 10″ to 24″. That’s it! No squares or triangles or diamonds to cut! If you register for the class, I will send you a complete list of sizes for every block.
