Class time will include learning (and applying) some basic embellishing stitches such as the blanket stitch, colonial knot, feather stitch chain stitch, and outline stitch. Also discussed will be applying binding to a small item like a needle keeper and dealing with some of the problems that come up when working with wool. The why’s and why nots of using fusibles will also be discussed.
Kits will be available from the instructor in a variety of designs and fabrics. Cost is $30 per kit and includes the pattern. or, if you want to create your own design, come with a design and wool to create a small wool picture for the cover of your needle keeper.
