Description: Complex looking, but simple to piece, the Tessellating Windmills pattern is a great way to display a “pre-cut” collection or show off your scraps. Pre-class cutting will allow us to maximize our class time and learn all the tricks and techniques to keep you organized (and sane) while assembling this quilt top.
Fabric Requirements:
- (40) 10″ squares OR (40) 2 1/2″ strips OR (14) Fat Quarters OR (160) 5″ squares (2 each of 80 different fabrics OR 4 each of 40 different fabrics)
- Optional borders – 2 yards for borders cut lenthwise
- Sewing machine
- Basic sewing supplies (seam ripper, thread, pins, etc)
- Rotary cutting equipment and rulers (not needed if pre-class cutting is done)
- Piece of flannel or batting to use as a design surface (optional)
