Description: This is a fun quilt and the pattern is so versatile. It resembles Orange Peel, but it isn’t! It is all sewn on the sewing machine — no applique! It can be made as shown in the picture, or reverse, or scrappy, or “two tone” (2 colors). For the class I will have several varieties to show. It can be made any size or for any purpose.
Fabric/Supply Requirements:
Acrylic templates are available through Baycreek Quilting Products, www.quilttemplates.com, or you can make your own. The templates come in different sizes. I used templates for a 6″ x 6″ website.
Medium to Dark Colors – 1 1/2 to 2 yards
White or light colors – 1 1/2 to 2 yards
Thread to match your colors or I suggest white or taupe
Rulers: 6″ x 24″ and 6″ x 6″ or 8″ x 8″, you will use the templates most of the time
Rotary Cutter – Small 45mm to work with templates
Pencil and/or chalk pencil depending on your colors (optional)
