Description: Start with a striking center block and build outwards to create a quilt the size that suits you best – Table Topper, Throw, or Lap Quilt. Simply choose your preferred size and make it your own. Ideal for confident beginners, this class features simple piecing, easy applique, and includes Deonn’s top tips for creating beautifully mitered borders.

Print A – Applique Background – 7/8 yard

Print B – Applique Flowers – 1/4 yard

Print C – Applique leaves/stems – 1/4 yard

Print D – Star Background – 3/4 yard

Print E – Star Points, flower base – 1/2 yard

Print F – Star Centers – 1/4 yard

Print G – Inner borders + binding – 1 yard

Print H – Middle Borders – 3/4 yard

Print J – Outer Borders – 1 1/3 yard

Backing – 3 3/4 yards

Thread that matches applique pieces

Washable glue stick

6″ x 24″ ruler with 45-degree angle marking

For Applique: If you wish to use the raw-edge applique technique, bring 1 yard of fusible web such as Heat ‘n Bond Lite. If you prefer starched, turned-edge applique, I will supply starch and cardboard for templates.
