Description: The Farmhouse Quilt is a perfect way to showcase your favorite collection of fabrics, and is the ideal quilt for snuggling under on a porch swing. We will share our favorite tips for making precise half-square triangles, pressing and piecing accurately, and organizing your project, all to ensure the best results.
Fabric/Supply Requirements:
- 15 Fat Quarters (or for a scrappier look, use 30 fat eighths)
- 1 3/4 yard background
- 1 1/4 yards sashing
- 1 5/8 yard border
- 5 3/4 yards backing
- 5/8 yard binding (1 yard if making optional scalloped border)
- Sewing Machine
- Basic Sewing Kit
- Small cutting mat, small ruler and rotary cutter
