Description: Scraps, Scraps, Scraps, Grab some of your scraps and come make this Tulip Delight wall hanging. These tulips are made with a raw edge technique. I will teach a couple of methods on how to do raw edge applique. I will also demonstrate how to stipple your tulip delight . I will teach about the use of SF101 and my favorite threads to apply the words. Also I will demonstrate how to do stems with bias bars.I will also have this wall hanging done with hearts. This is a fun and easy wall hanging to make, so come join me for an afternoon delight.
Fabric/Supply Requirements:
20” x 20” – Lt. Beige Background
20” x 20” – Background fabric
20” x 20” SF 101
20” x 20” warm and natural (optional)
30 different fabrics- Tulips
Stripes, plaids, checks, polka dots, etc.
3 different green- stems
9 – 2”x2” – different greens- leaves
Threads- words – floss or your favorite threads. I like Sulky- 12 wt.Cotton Petites
Long staple cotton 50 yds.
