Description: Carry everything you need for a day trip in this handy knapsack. Zippers extend all the way around the main and front compartments for full access to each section. Lots of zippered and slip pockets (even an optional hidden pocket!) keep everything organized. Pattern includes instructions for adjustable padded straps to fit children or adults.
Fabric/Supply Requirements:
- 1 yard Main Fabric (body of bag, outer pocket)
- 1 yard Lining Fabric (lining of bag)
- 3/4 yard (child) or 1 yard (adult) Coordinating fabric (bindings, straps, handle)
- 1/4 yard Contrasting fabric (inner pockets)
- 36″ x 58″ ByAnnie’s Soft & Stable
- 1/2 yard Fusible interfacing
- 1/2 yard Mesh Fabric (inner pockets)
- (3) 30″ double-slide zippers**
- (1) 40″ double-slide zipper**
- 2 1/4 yards (child) or 2 3/4 yards (adult) 1″ polypro strapping
- (2) 1″ adjuster hardware
- 3/4 yard 20mm wide fold-over elastic
- Thread to match fabrics
**NOTE** The zippers listed above will be enough for all of the knapsack zippers. If you want more variety in colors, then you’ll need the following zippers: (2) 13″ single-slide, (2) 15″ single-slide) (1) 28″ double-slide, and (1) 36″ double-slide.
