Description: Village Square is a darling table topper. It’s tiny and charming, finishing at 37″ x 37″ square. The quilt pattern is by Kim Diehl and is found in her book Simple Whatnots III. This quilt combines tiny churn dash with a whimsical applique border.
Fabric Requirements:
- 1/4 yard (not fat quarter) of gold vine print for strip-set units
- 1/4 yard (not a fat quarter) of neutral geometric print for strip-set units and block center squares
- 1/4 yard (not a fat quarter) of red print for strip-set units and appliques
- 5/8 yard of dark blue sprigged print for block center squares, sashing square, inner border and binding
- 6 chubby sixteenths (9″ x 11″) of assorted prints for churn dash units and appliques
- 1 fat eighth (9″ x 22″) of chartreuse green print for churn dash units and appliques
- 1 fat eighth (9″ x 22″) of medium blue print for churn dash units and appliques
- 1 fat quarter (18″ x 22″) of neutral dotted diamond print for churn dash units
- 1 chubby sixteenth (9″ x 11″) of neutral vine print for churn dash units
- 1/2 yard of brown paisley print for sashing strips and outer border
- 2/3 yard of neutral stripe for applique border
- 1/3 yard of dark green print for vines and appliques
- 1 fat eighth (9″ x 22″) of green print for appliques
