Description: Delectable strawberry pin cushions nestled in a cute basket make the perfect gift for quilty friends or create one for yourself. The basket will hold approximately 10 strawberries. A great way to use up scraps of reds and pinks.

Supply Requirements:

Various 7″ x 7″ print for each strawberry

3″ x 6″ green felt for strawberry leaves – this is enough for 2 strawberries

Approximately 1/4 cup crushed walnut shells for filling each strawberry

Size 22 Chenille Needle

glue gun and glue sticks

Small pliers or hemostat

Leather Punch – I will bring mine to share

1/4″ wide green ribbon x 5″ long for each strawberry stem

1/2 yard fabric for basket

5/8 yard Pellon 950F ShirTailor Fusible Interfacing

1 yard package Heat N Bond Ultra Hold

8″ x 11″ freezer paper

Clover Wonder Clips

Schmetz Super Nonstick Sewing Machine Needles – Size 100

Curved Tweezer

Unique Stitch Fabric Glue or Fabri Tac or Similar

Thread to match red fabrics

Thread to match basket fabric

Red Buttonhole Thread for gathering each Strawberry pin cushion

Good scissors for cutting fabric and felt

Mechanical pencil

Sturdy Sewing Machine – a small travel sewing machine will not be able to sew the thick fabric created for the basket . . . you will need to bring out the Big Girls for sewing this one
