Description: Can we ever have enough pincushions? We think not! And if you are new to wool, this sweet little project is the perfect introduction to working with wool, and embroidery embellishment. We will share our favorite tips for stitching with wool – you’ll be hooked!

Fabric Requirements:

5″ x 6.5″ piece of gold wool for base of applique

3.5″ x 6″ piece of red fabric print for front of pillow

8″ x 6.5″ piece of black wool for back of pillow

1.25″ x 7.5″ strip of tan wool for 9 scallops

1.5″ x 1.5″ piece of brown wool for spool

1.5″ x 2″ piece of blue wool for thread

1.5″ x 2.5″ piece of red wool for heart

3.25″ x 4.5″ piece of tan wool for hand and needle

Polyfil stuffing (we like Morning Glory Cluster Stuff)

12″ of vintage gray ribbon or seam binding

Coordinating floss to match wool selection (we like Valdani #12 Perle Cotton floss)

Light fusible webbing (we like Steam-A-Steam 2)

Sharp pointed scissors

**NOTE** You do NOT need to bring your sewing machine to this class.
